Track of Wearable Sound
During the composition of music, the musician (Andrea) and I mixed the sound of garments into the track. For instance, it could be heard clearly in the beginning of the music is clicking sound of buckles and the fabric rustling in the middle. Furthermore, through the dance movement, the garment produces the sound that similar to white noise while dancer (Anna) is spinning.
Those sounds provide perfect tracks to present the project intention. In addition, inspiring by indigenous Taiwanese culture I mentioned, it seems to be a workable conflict to mix with eastern warring percussion, Taiko drum, into the music. By layering up these various tracks, the music of this project ushers audiences into a brand-new music realm.
Music Proposal
Music length: 3mins50sec
Drum track length: 1min20sec
This part should be: 2mins
This video contains the sound effect/tracks I want to have. (White noise; spin effect, crack, whoose, beat, tv static/glitch effect, vinyl sound…etc.)

Important information! The dance part would involve a lot of spin movements; so I think it would be better that the sound effects match with that.
Sound of Dancer’s garment: 30sec (10sec pure+20sec edited) this sound will be recorded on 12th of Aug. when it is done I’ll give sound track to you to edit.
As you can see from some experimental works below, there would be the fabric rustling sound and metal clicking
10 sec- pure garment sound
20 sec-edited garment sound, I think it would match with the crack effect like this video below Craig Green (0:41-0:43)
Drum track: 1min20sec (1min+20sec)
Drum track + sound effect length: 1 min
I really think the video below from 2:30-2:41, the sound effect would match with drum track.

Drum track + sound of drummer’s garment length: 20 sec (I’ll give you the garment on 18th of Aug, if it won’t be too rush to you to finish)
The other sound made by garment, which you will wear, would focuse on plastic buckles clicking. I think it would be good if we mix the drum track with this sound, which can be edited as well)
